On 1 January 2006 a Congestion Levy was introduced in parts of inner Melbourne to reduce congestion and associated negative impacts.
In line with the Government's commitment to review administration of the levy one year after introduction, DTF and the State Revenue Office have reviewed the levy’s implementation.
