Graduate employment opportunities
About to finish your degree and want to join an organisation that makes a difference?
If you want to apply your skills to real issues affecting Victoria, the Department of Treasury and Finance is a great place to work. As a central government agency, DTF will provide an opportunity to be involved in the development and implementation of Government policy.
Each year we employ a number of graduates who will become future leaders in their areas of expertise. The Department generally recruits accounting and economics graduates, but there are also opportunities for generalists in areas of corporate planning, policy analysis and administration.
Our graduates are offered unique and challenging opportunities. Here is your chance to make a difference. To find out more, visit the Victorian Public Service Graduate Scheme website
In addition, the Victorian Department of Treasury and Finance coordinates an economics training program for graduate economists called the Professional Graduate Economist Module (PGEM). The PGEM represents a significant specialised supplement for graduate economists to the learning and development program completed by all graduates as part of the Victorian Public Service Graduate Recruitment Scheme. To learn more about PGEM, see the PGEM brochure (121 kb PDF).
Graduates can also enter the Department by applying for advertised vacancies.
